About Attorney Michael A. Hardesty

Mike founded The Hardesty Law Firm, LLC in 2004. Mike was raised in California, Italy, and Connecticut as the son of a military family. He attended Fitch Senior High School. Prior to law school, Mike attended the University of Connecticut in Storrs where he earned his B.S. from the School of Business. He studied abroad for a semester in the UCONN Business School program in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

Mike then attended the Villanova University School of Law where he graduated in 1991 with a Juris Doctor. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1991 and the U.S. District Court, Connecticut in 1992.

Prior to founding The Hardesty Law Firm, LLC, Mike worked in the litigation group of Cohen & Wolf, P.C. in Fairfield County, for Allen & Caron, Inc. in New York City and O'Brien, Shafner, Stuart, Kelly & Morris, P.C. in New London County.

Mike is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. He regularly provides pro bono legal representation for non-profit organizations.

Mike resides in Mystic, CT with his beloved dogs, Sammy Rosa and BeauBeau. Mike is a member of the Stonington Country Club, the Pond View Racquet and Croquet Club and the Groton Sportsmen's Club. Mike is an avid fisherman. Mike also plays tennis and golf and enjoys spending time on Fishers Island.
